How much do Academy courses and exams cost?
All the Academy's courses and exams are absolutely free and are available for any type of registered user, with no strings attached.
Can I use your content for my own purposes?
Once you’ve created a SEMrush account, you will gain access to a free subscription for the tools and all content within the Academy. This content is available for personal use. However, we do not permit any of our users to publish, distribute, modify, enhance, translate, or reproduce the content on third-party websites.
How often is this content updated?
We update our content on a regular basis to keep up with new industry trends and developments.
How can I change my email address?

All of our courses and exams are online. You can watch them on the SEMrush Academy website.

I didn't pass an exam. Can I retake it?
Yes, you can retake the exam. Based on your exam performance, we’ll send you an email with detailed recommendations to prepare for the exam, so that you have a better chance of passing next time.If you didn’t pass, we recommend you act on these points and try again as the SEMrush. Academy certificate is widely recognized in digital marketing.
Can I have the questions and answers to my exam?
Our goal is to give everyone an equal opportunity when taking the exam, thus we do not share the exam questions and answers, even if completed.
I’ve passed the exam. Can I see my score?
Yes. You can see your results on the screen after passing the exam.
How can I retake an already passed exam?
Our certificate confirms that you know the course. Thus, there are no reasons for you to retake the exam. If you are keen to build on your knowledge of digital marketing, we recommend you check out one of our other courses.
How do I access my SEMrush certificate?
Once you've completed one of SEMrush Academy's exams, you’ll get an email with a PDF version of your certificate. You can also access your certificate on the exam results page. Here, you can download it, send it via email, or share it on social media. As a piece of digital marketing course accreditation, students also like to post their certificates on LinkedIn.
How do I know when my certificate will expire?
We’ll remind you to renew your certificate via email. You can also find the expiry date on the certificate, on the exam results page, or on the exam card in the library.
Is it possible to change the name on my certificate?
How long is my certificate valid for?
Your certificate will be valid for one year from the date of issue. We will notify you as soon as your certificate expires.
We recommend renewing your certificate promptly, as our digital marketing courses are updated regularly to stay on top of the latest industry trends and developments.
Do you have certification for teams?
We don’t have special team certifications. However, since our courses and certification exams are free, your team members can create personal accounts to pass the desired exams. Alternatively, a single team member may pass the exam on behalf of the team using the team account.
As our digital marketing courses are in-depth, covering topics such as SEO, PPC, and SMM, we recommend each member of the team gets their own certificate. This will ensure the continuity of both knowledge and strategy across your entire team.
